Sky Deck Stroll

Chubu Airport, 2 of 4
The space feels like a little reconstructed Japanese city, with the old-style faux roofs jutting out from each small shop. All the stores are stuffed to the gills with "omiyage" to buy for the folks at home. For some reason, the "streets" in this commercial rabbit warren were European sounding; French being the prevailing theme with "Places" (piazza type things) and "Rues." There was a kind of British feel to the "Sky Deck," however, especially with the "Queen Alice" added on.
And that was a key location, because the Sky Deck was one of the main attractions. You can watch the planes take off and land...just in case you had never seen that before.
