the top half of the image loaded first on my monitor and as i waited for the leaf to be completed i was nicely surprised to find half of it had been chewed away...seems to say something about how we expect to find beauty etc and how we can find it, if we are open to it. sorry if i have mauled your intention there. anyway, i like the shot!

@jc: Hello jc! No, I wouldn't say that's entirely a misreading, although I hadn't really thought about the loading time. I did take this picture because the leaf was so perfect, except for that large debilitating scar. Despite the "injury," it was still so green and full of life, with the water drops rolling over its unbroken skin.
