To avoid plagiarism, I will say up front that this is a poster I saw at a bus stop...any guesses what it is?

I like this very much; it is as you say reminiscent of Suerat.

@Daniel: Thank you! I think it worked better in B & W, although it would have been cool if I was able to get Seurat's color palette =)
Nice shot Evelyn. That is an interesting technique pointillism.

@Darren: Yes, I'm merely suggeting it...I was just lucky to catch this moment before the raindrops dried, and before it rained some more.
Awesome shot!

@Still: Thank you, Still!
A very interesting representation! It brings a new dimension to the subject. Are these raindrops?

@Damon Schreiber: Yep! Raindrops on the glass over a poster. The poster advertises "The Nativity Story." I can't seem to find a graphic of this poster, but I think it's a composite of different screen shots they took.
Very interesting . Love the processing Evelyn. Looks like religious iconography of some sort? god knows though;) could be a poster for desperate housewives its so 'abstracted'. Either way..fine job!

@Duncan Galbraith: I actually went very light on the processing, just adjusting the levels to make sure it all showed up. For some reason my photos seem to lose color saturation when they get on the website, so I always slightly overdo it to make it come out right.
But yes, thank you! Glad you liked it--it's a poster for "The Nativity Story."
Hmm. This is very atmospheric: the raindrops, the instantly identifiable religious characters, there's altogether something eerie about it. As if she was screaming underwater...Great shot!

@bm: Thank you! I like your reading. I deliberately focused on the water droplets more than on the actual poster to blur out some of the original image. The sense of struggling to emerge is something I feel many times when I look at pointillist works. As if they are struggling to take shape, but are too scattered.
