Actually, I think it was my camera setting. I use a Canon Powershot s80, and sometimes the colors are just really intense. In post-processing, I toned down the saturation so that you could see the lines and shading of the flowers better. At first the redness was way too intense...this looks a bit more like the real flowers.
These were also taken in Shi Tou. An old policeman invited the lot of us onto his balcony for tea, and I found these flowers there. He was a bit of a tea aficionado, this guy, having fun at his post way out there in the mountains. (A small village in the mountains of Taiwan, Martin! (^_^) )
